Obligation to cooperate

Changes in the personal circumstances of the applicant or other members of the community of needs must be notified without delay and without request. If retrospective changes arise, e.g. the retroactive approval of a pension, the obligation to cooperate also exists beyond the end of the benefit. Please pay attention to the completeness and correctness of the information. If you fail to properly comply with your communication and participation obligations, you must refund any services wrongly received and may be a criminal offence or criminal offence that may result in further consequences.
Please use the change notice provided for this purpose for the written notification ofa change .
Benefits
The granting of benefits under the Second Book of the Social Code (SGB II) is intended to ensure the existence of those in need of work and their relatives in the so-called community of needs, insofar as this is not possible independently by generating income, but also by using available assets.
As a matter of priority, you should check whether you are eligible for one or more priority social benefits (e.g. housing benefit, child allowance, benefits under the Asylum Seeker Benefits Act, pensions, maintenance advances, support for training, sickness benefit, etc.).
If income is earned in your community of needs or assets are available, this will be taken into account in the calculation of your entitlement to benefits. The Jobcenter checks the completeness of your information, for example, by matching data with other authorities or by requesting bank statements.
Control power and additional requirements
The standard requirements for securing a livelihood include in particular nutrition, clothing, personal care, household goods, household energy without the proportions of heating and production of hot water, as well as personal needs of daily life.
For requirements that are not covered by the control requirement, a so-called additional requirement can also be taken into account for you.
