Needs for accommodation and heating are provided in the amount of the actual expenses, as far as these are reasonable.
Actual expenses include:
- the cold rent
- operating costs
- Costs for heating and hot water treatment
- Other costs (e.g. costs for furniture, cable connection, etc.)
Exceeding the maximum rental rates:
If your current apartment exceeds the county’s maximum rental rates, the actual costs can be covered for a maximum of 6 months.
At the same time, you are obliged to reduce the cost of accommodation and heating (e.g. by changing your apartment). Once the 6 months have expired, the cost of accommodation and heating will be limited to the appropriate maximum rates.
