Equal opportunities

The Equal Opportunities Officer supports and advises on issues of equality in basic security for jobseekers, the promotion of women and the reconciliation of family and professional life.

It participates in the development of the labour market and integration programme.

It helps to carry out the professional tasks in a gender- and family-friendly manner. In particular, it is a question of helping people to integrate into work or training. She also supports and advises women and men on their return to work after the family phase.

It supports and advises persons entitled to work and members of their needs, as well as employers and organisations, in matters relating to their remit.

It works with jobs in the job centre’s area of responsibility which also deal with equality in working life.

She represents the Jobcentre on topics of her remit in municipal bodies.
