Example 1: Applicant was unemployed for at least 2 years
If you employ someone subject to social insurance who has been unemployed for at least 2 years, we can support you with the following subsidies:
Wage subsidy for 2 years (75% in the first year and 50% in the second year of the regularly paid wage)
Employment support (coaching), which makes it easier for the supported employees to get used to the daily work routine again.
Assumption of costs for further training during employment. We will bear all or part of the costs for this.
The legal basis for this funding opportunity is the Participation Opportunities Act § 16e SGB II “Integration of the long-term unemployed”. It regulates the type and scope of support services.
Example 2: Applicant received unemployment benefit II for several years
If you employ someone subject to social insurance who has received unemployment benefit II (basic benefits) for several years and is over 25 years of age, the following subsidies are possible:
Wage subsidy for up to 5 years (100% in the first two years. In the following 3 years, the subsidy is reduced by 10% points in each case).
Employment support (coaching), which makes it easier for the supported employees to get used to the daily work routine again.
Reimbursement of costs for further training during employment in the amount of up to 3,000 euros.
